SUYH: Finding a forever Home

Show Us Your Heart is back! From February 8th-February 22nd we will be asking for donations to help find loving homes for abandoned pets.

Global pet Foods will donate $1.00 for every donation received up to $75,000. We will also treat your pet with a special treat, so come in store to find out more!

There are many ways that you can help local shelters as well:

Fostering: Many rescues do not have the space or staff to look after every animal that comes into their care, but you could volunteer to help! All vet visits and supplies are paid for, all you have to do is show them love and provide a roof over their head.

Donations: All the way from small single donations to monthly donations to that bag of food your cat refuses to eat.

Volunteering your time: Smaller rescues often need help transporting pets to the vet, to new fosters or transporting supplies. Helping out at events such as fundraisers or adoption events is always hugely appreciated. If you’re not able to take in an animal, volunteering your time can make a huge impact.

Considering adopting vs buying: Although there are many people who want to purchase a pet with a specific look, there are always hundreds of animals in the city of Edmonton who are looking for a home. Infinite Woof Animal Rescue Society had over 30 puppies in their care over the last year and Zoe’s Animal Rescue currently has almost 40 kittens looking for a place to call home.
